About the Shediac Bay Yacht Racing Association
The SBYRA is the recognized authority for yacht racing in Shediac Bay. It organizes and oversees regular races during the summer months and partners with other organizations to organize special regattas.
Yachts from both the Pointe-du-ChĂȘne Marina and the Shediac Bay Marina participate in the regular season races which take place on Wednesday nights. There are also a few Saturday races.
The SBYRA races take place in Shediac Bay just off the Town of Shediac, New Brunswick. The Bay leads into the Strait of Northumberland which is located between the provinces of New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
